Last week all of our friends and their children decided to drive to St. Louis and enjoy a nice cool fall day at the St. Louis Zoo. However, we got a nice, hot 92 degree day in St. Louis. It was very crowded, but the kiddos had a great time! Thank goodness Nellie was willing to feed her on the way home!
As a final hurrah before going back to work this upcoming Monday, I decided to take a trip to the suburbs to visit some friends and family. Avery and I sadly said goodbye to Daddy and drove away in a very packed car! It requires a bit more to travel with a baby. We were able to spend some quality time with Grandma and Grandpa Carrion, Great Grandma Carrion, Uncle Skip and Aunt Les, Auntie Ashley, the Antfellners and Avery finally got to meet my friends Jackie, Jenene and Jamie! We were very busy over the course of just a few days and Avery did a great job traveling. She slept in the car, no matter where we were going and did a great job being passed from person to person.
Monday at Sunny Acres with the Antfellners and Grandpa Carrion
Tuesday was a visit with Great Grandma...
On Wednesday, Avery and Auntie Ashley got to spend some quality time together...
...and Avery got to meet some of mommy's friends- Jackie, Jamie and Jenene
Hand Holding Time!!!!
On Thursday, Avery spent the day with Lucas and the evening with Aunt Robyn and Uncle Ralph...
Aunt Nik and Lucas made cookies together!
On Friday we came back, put on my party dress and went to a birthday party for our friend Leo and got to hang out with some of my favorite people...
This weekend will be busy and then on Monday, I go back to work for the first time since May! I hope I still have what it takes! We are so fortunate that our dear friend Thayre will be watching Avery for us. It will make going back a bit easier to deal with. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to spend her first 10 weeks at home with her. She has changed so much and already has quite the personality!
Finally, I have to include a video of Lucas from Thursday morning. It is pure nonsense, but it makes me smile!!
Enjoy the video and pictures!
