Avery turned 8 months old on April 5! Here are a few pictures of our growing baby! I am including many pictures from our little "photo session" because it was becoming a bit more difficult to get her to sit still! She also seems to want to play a bit more with her Buckeye bear!

I love this face! She looks like she is questioning
why he is on her chair! |
After our picture time, we went and spend the afternoon with Grandma and Grandpa Glacinski! They sure were excited to see Miss Avery!

I think it is safe to say, spring has arrived! We took full advantage of the beautiful weather this weekend and spent some time outside. We visited a garage sale (not a very good one, but we are excited for the garage sale season to begin) and got some paint so we could start redoing our bedroom. We also took Avery to the park for the first time since she was only a couple days old- Look how little she was!
Thankfully, she was far more alert this time around and seemed to enjoy her time playing. Our first stop was the swing, which we were not too sure how she was going to react. I think she liked it!

| And then she was done... |
Next we were off to the slide. Of course, Daddy went down with her!

| Daddy's Little Girl for sure! |
After about 30 minutes, we made on last stop at the swings and headed home.
Another exciting event that took place this weekend was we gave Avery her first taste of the little Puff snacks. We were eager and anxious to try these since they were made with rice flour and that was the one allergen that was not tested for. Everything went perfectly! Not a single reaction, but we did have the Benedryl and Epi pen ready to go!
We chose banana flavored hoping this would help with the unfamiliar new texture and task at hand. We thought Avery would be a pro at this since everything goes in her mouth these days, but not the puffs. Thankfully, we were eager to lend a helping hand!
First taste:
Second time around...much happier!
After eating a little bit of peas, carrots and banana, I was excited to get this picture because you can see her two little teeth. Hopefully the other ones are coming soon.
With such a busy day behind her, she literally feel asleep in her highchair. Just a quick little catnap and then she was up and ready to play again! Very typical Avery!
