It's a Girl!!!!!!!!!

It is official!  We are going to be the proud parents of a little girl!  We just got back from the ultrasound and she cooperated for about 2 minutes- just long enough for us to see the legs and all the girly parts!  The arrow in the top picture is pointing to the labia and clitoris (I don't know how they see it, but I believe them!) in between those legs, which already seem really long!  She then proceeded to show us her feet, hands, head, stomach, butt, spine and everything in between!  We are really excited and really can't wait to meet her!

I'm Sorry...

Dear women who are or who have been pregnant,
I am sorry for discussing how easy my pregnancy has been so far.  I am sorry I have told you about having no morning sickness and being very excited about it.  Karma is real!  Monday afternoon the ball of my foot under my left toe began bothering me.  Tuesday, I could barely walk or stand on it.  Today, the same as yesterday, only now it is red and I am unable to even touch it.  After x-rays, a trip to the orthopedic doctor and back to the hospital for blood work, it turns out I have a stress fracture in the big bone on my right foot.  I am in a boot for two weeks (thank goodness for the pedicure I got last weekend!).  The foot was also a bit warmer than my other one, so the blood work is to test for gout.  Please forgive my bragging and excitement for what I thought was an easy pregnancy!

PS.  I am officially in my fifth month and still feeling great! (I don't learn do I?)  On Friday we go to the doctor for our checkup and we will hopefully be able to find out if we are having a baby girl or a baby boy!  The next posting will be much better!!  Promise!
